Seth Logan Blakeslee Obituary (1996 - 2016)

Seth Logan Blakeslee, 19, of Monument passed away on Saturday June 18th in Monument. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday June 25th at 2:00 PM at the Monument school gymnasium. Seth was born on July 13, 1996 in John Day, Oregon to Larry Blakeslee and Sandy Corley. He graduated from Monument High School in 2014. He had been working with Fiber-optics cable installation. He enjoyed basketball and other sports, fishing, hunting, spending time with his family and friends, and his dog, Charlie. Seth did very well in school; he was the Salutatorian of his class, and received the Presidents Education Award for outstanding academic achievement. He played in the Senior All Star basketball tournament, and was a member of the first Monument robotics team to go to state. Seth was with us for a short time, but left a very large footprint. He truly enjoyed life. He is survived by his father Larry Blakeslee of Dixie, Washington, mother Sandy Corley of Monument, Oregon, his brother and best friend, Colten Blakeslee of Monument, Oregon and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
