Neal Miller Obituary (1952

James Neal Miller, 65, passed away Feb. 17, 2018. A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. March 17 in the new gymnasium at Prairie City High School, with dinner to follow in the school cafeteria. Miller was born December 7, 1952, in Prairie City, Oregon. He was a lifelong resident of Grant County, including Izee, Prairie City, and Canyon City. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He spent his entire working life outdoors, logging and gold mining. He is survived by his wife, Nita Miller; child Kristen (Calvin) Simerson; stepsons Jason (Alessia) Cyrus and John Michael (Tami) Cyrus; brothers Chris Miller and Marty (Hollie) Miller; sister Cathy (Patrick) Workman; three grandchildren; nieces; nephews; extended family; and dear friends. He was loved by all. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Terrie Miller.
