I AM COMMITTED
I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The line has been drawn and I have stepped over. The decision has been made, His Spirit draws me. I am a disciple of the Most High God. I will not look back, retreat, step aside, or around; will not tap my feet to the rules and structure of this world's dance, nor receive the lies of the enemy.
I have found a higher law, one that surpasses sin and death. A law of life and grace. Grace that has stolen the keys from hell's stronghold, defeated death, and taken authority over ever principality, power, and ruler of the darkness of this world. My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, and my future is secure. I am finished with low living, sight walking, small planning, colorless dreams, tamed visions, idle words, selfish giving, and promotions or popularity. I don't have to be right, first, recognized, praised, regarded or rewarded.
I will live by faith, lean on His presence, walk in the fruit of His Spirit, live by prayer and labor by the power of the Holy Spirit. My face is set, my gait is fast, my goal is heaven. My road is narrow, my way rough, my companions few, my Guide reliable and my mission clear.
I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, fall into the grasp of fatalism, or meander in the maze of mediocrity.
I will seek to know my Father, be sensitive to hear His voice, deny my flesh to be obedient. My feet are bound to the path of righteousness, my life is bound to His will, and nothing can separate me from His love. My mind, soul and spirit are cleansed, restored and renewed through the blood of Jesus. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Through faith I am enabled, and through the Holy Spirit I am empowered. God's mercy daily covers me.
I will not be defeated
I am committed
