Jenelle Moulton

Jenelle Alyson Moulton, 70, of Canyon City, Oregon, passed away on August 30, 2026, at her residence. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. PDT at Grant County Fair Pavilion in John Day, Oregon. A reception will follow the service. The inurnment will take place at Canyon City Cemetery at a later date.

Jenelle Alyson was born on January 7, 1956, in Pendleton, Oregon, to Art and Rita (Warner) Reimann. She graduated from Pendleton High School. She attended Blue Mountain Community College’s nursing program, first becoming a licensed practical nurse and later a registered nurse. She worked as a nurse for 45 years.

Jenelle could be found working on her many projects, whether she was mixing soil in her garden and flower beds, sitting at her sewing machine, or enjoying other crafts. She always kept busy in retirement.

She is survived by her children and their spouses: Amy (Greg) Olsen, Melissa (Alex) Finlayson, Justin (Lisa) Gilbreath, Jenna (Dylan) Hendriksen; her significant other, Dr. Mike Desjardin, and his family; and her grandchildren Haley, Alli, Henry, Clara, Maddy, Tanner, Dane, Paige, Wade, Charli, Emmy, and many Desjardin grandchildren.
