Cheryl Ann Breland

Cheryl Ann Breland , 60, of Mt. Vernon, Oregon passed away Wednesday February 22, 2017 at Conroe Regional Medical Center in Conroe, Texas. Her grave side service will be held Monday, March 6th, 2017 at the Canyon City Cemetery, Canyon City, Oregon at 2:00 PM.

Cheryl was born on January 31, 1957 in Bogalusa, Louisiana. Cheryl attended Loranger High School in Loranger, Louisiana. She then went on to attend Treasure Valley Community College in Ontario, Oregon, graduating in 1982. Cheryl also worked for the U.S.D.A/Forest Service in Sam Houston National Forest as an engineer for 18 years.

Cheryl enjoyed horse back riding, hiking, gardening and walking her dog "Prissy". She also was active with the Church of The Nazarene in Conroe, Texas. One of Cheryl's fondest accomplishments were the roads and bridges she engineered, so others could enjoy the national forests.

She is survived by her Mother Clara Cambre of Mt. Vernon. OR, brother Buford Breland of Mt. Vernon, OR and half brother Billy Shannup of Friutland, ID.

She is preceded in death by her son Christopher Omohundro.
